This immersive three-part series brings French learning into the heart of Melbourne through nature, food, and creativity. You’ll build rich sensory vocabulary while exploring local parks, expand your culinary expressions as you discover French-inspired flavours across the city, and develop storytelling skills by crafting narratives from your own photographs.

Week 1: Design & Conversation​: Speak French at the NGV

This workshop is all about expressing your opinions, exploring social themes, and describing the designs featured in the exhibition.

A meaningful and inspiring way to connect, learn, and practise your French at the NGV.

Week 2: Food Quest

Embark on a delicious journey through Melbourne’s French flavours. As we wander from one hidden gem to another, you’ll expand your food vocabulary. and taste authentic specialities, right here in your city.

Week 3: Story Through the Lens

Capture moments, then bring them to life in French. We’ll wander through the city, take photos, and use them to craft and share short stories; blending language, creativity, and expression. The workshop will finish with a mini photo exhibition to showcase your work en français.
