9-Week Immersion Course

We focus on authentic, real-world experiences rather than dull textbooks, allowing your language skills to thrive. From classic films and gourmet dining to French television, music, art, fashion, and personal interactions with native speakers, you'll enjoy a comprehensive cultural journey while mastering grammar and vocabulary.

French Etiquette & Social Codes

Week 1 (5–10 October)

This workshop unpacks the unwritten rules of French social life. You'll gain a deeper understanding of what's really expected in everyday social situations in France, helping you navigate conversations and cultural interactions with greater confidence and ease.

Grammar Boot Camp

Week 2 (12–17 October)

This is your opportunity to finally get answers to all your grammatical dilemmas. Through practical exercises and real-life examples, you'll cover a wide range of topics to help you structure your sentences more confidently and communicate more naturally.

Travel Talk

Week 3 (19–24 October)

Planning a trip to France, or just dreaming about one? This workshop covers the practical language of travel — booking accommodation, asking for recommendations, describing an itinerary, and navigating the small moments that make a trip feel effortless. You'll also practise recounting past travels, so your stories come out as naturally as your plans.

Think French, Speak French

Week 4 (26–31 October)

Still translating from English before you speak? This workshop looks at how French sentences are actually built — the patterns, the logic, the instincts native speakers rely on without thinking. You'll practise moving away from word-for-word translation toward forming thoughts directly in French, so your speech sounds less constructed and more like your own.

French in the News

Week 5 (2-7 November)

Understanding the news in French opens up a whole different register of the language: faster, denser, and closer to how issues are actually discussed. This workshop works through current headlines and short clips, building your comprehension of journalistic French while giving you the vocabulary to share your own opinion on what's happening.

Movie Time

Week 6 (9-14 November)

Join us for a cinematic experience as we watch a selection of French short films. This interactive workshop is designed to strengthen your communication skills through vocabulary exploration and engaging group discussion.

Letter to My Future Self

Week 7 (16–21 November)

A quieter, more personal session: this workshop invites you to write a letter to yourself, in French. We'll explore the vocabulary of emotions and goals — how to name what you're feeling, express hope or doubt, and describe where you'd like to be. It's a chance to put pen to paper on your own terms, and to see, in your own words, just how far your French has come.

Francophone Africa: Flavours and Sounds

(Premium Only)

Week 8 (23-28 November)

You'll experience the flavours of Senegal while diving into the richness of Francophone Africa. The workshop unfolds in stages: a live performance, a dance lesson, storytelling, and a Senegalese dégustation to finish. Food, music, and storytelling, all bringing the French-speaking world to life.

(For Essential Package students, you will instead get one bonus class — repeat a workshop at a different level.)

Photography Walk

Week 9 (30 Nov-5 December)

We close the term outdoors, camera or phone in hand, walking and talking entirely in French. You'll practise describing what you see — light, composition, detail — while building a shared vocabulary for observation and reaction. A relaxed, active way to end the term, with something to show for it afterwards.

Term 4 Timetable

We offer 5 different levels, each with flexible weekly class streams to fit your schedule. There's only 1 class per week. Simply pick the stream that works best for you!

Where Are You in Your French Journey?

Whether you're starting from zero or already speaking with confidence, discover where you fit in our learning pathway. Explore each level below to understand your current abilities and find the class that's right for you.

Foundation

You are starting from zero or very little French. You are beginning to recognise basic words and sounds. Listening feels new, and you are building your first familiarity with how French sounds. You are not yet forming sentences.

Beginner

You can use the present tense, form negative sentences, and start asking simple questions in French.

You can understand very slow, clear speech when supported by context, but need repetition and visual support to follow conversations.

Lower Intermediate

You are familiar with the passé composé, imparfait and futur, but still need practice to use them confidently.

You can follow simple conversations on familiar topics when speech is clear and structured, but may miss key details at natural speed.

Upper Intermediate

You are comfortable using the conditional and most tenses, though you still need support to build sentences naturally and fluently.

You can understand most everyday French conversations, but may struggle with fast speech, reduced forms, or complex instructions.

Advanced

You are comfortable using all major tenses, including the subjonctif, though complex structures may still need refinement.

You have strong listening comprehension and can understand natural, fast French, including detailed conversations.
