We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be published on this page and take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of our Site or services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Courses & Enrolment

Enrolment in a course is confirmed once payment (full or deposit, where applicable) has been received.

Courses operate on a term basis unless otherwise stated. Specific course details including duration, fees, and structure are provided at the time of enrolment.

We reserve the right to:

Modify class schedules where necessary

Substitute teachers when required

Cancel or reschedule classes due to unforeseen circumstances

3. Attendance & Absentee Policy

We value consistency in learning, as language acquisition requires regular participation.

If you are unable to attend a scheduled class:

You may be entitled to one make-up class per missed session, subject to availability and prior coordination with the school.

Make-up classes must be organised directly with Cosmopoli’French and are offered on an exceptional basis only, not as a regular arrangement.

Make-up classes are provided to support continuity, but are not guaranteed in all circumstances.

If a student:

Fails to attend a scheduled make-up class, or

Continues to miss regular classes repeatedly,

they will not be entitled to a refund, credit, or further make-up classes.

Weekend Access Policy

Please note that during weekends:

The building may be closed outside scheduled class times.

Once a class has commenced, teachers are unable to leave the classroom to provide building access to late arrivals.

Students are expected to arrive on time. Late arrivals may not be granted entry if access cannot be facilitated.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Student Withdrawal

If you choose to withdraw after the term has commenced, course fees are non-refundable.

This policy exists because:

Teaching staff are engaged and compensated in advance.

Fixed operational costs (venue hire, materials, administration) are committed prior to the term.

Class sizes are structured to preserve a quality learning environment.

Resources and preparation are allocated based on confirmed enrolments.

Repeated absences do not constitute grounds for refund.

School Cancellation

If a course does not meet the required minimum number of enrolments by the cut-off date, we reserve the right to cancel the class.

In this case, students will receive:

A full refund, or

The option to transfer to another suitable class (where available).

5. Code of Conduct & Respect Policy

Cosmopoli’French is committed to providing a respectful, supportive and professional learning environment for all students and staff.

We do not tolerate:

Disrespectful, aggressive, abusive, or threatening behaviour

Harassment of staff or other students

Inappropriate or hostile written or verbal communication

If a student (or parent/guardian where applicable) engages in such behaviour, we reserve the right to:

Cancel the student’s enrolment immediately

Refuse continued access to classes or services

In such cases, the student will be entitled to a refund for the remaining unused classes within the current term or course, calculated on a pro-rata basis.

6. Gift Cards & Promotional Codes

Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.

Coupon codes are valid until their stated expiry date.

Promotional codes are single-use unless otherwise specified.

Minimum spend requirements may apply.

Discounts cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site including text, course materials, logos, graphics, videos, and branding is the property of Cosmopoli’French and is protected under Australian intellectual property laws.

Course materials are provided for personal educational use only.

You may not:

Copy, reproduce, distribute, or modify materials without written permission

Use materials for commercial purposes

Share paid course materials with non-enrolled individuals

8. Online Services Disclaimer

While we strive to ensure our website and online systems operate reliably, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

We are not responsible for:

Technical disruptions beyond our control

Third-party platforms used for payment processing

External websites linked from our Site

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted under Australian law, Cosmopoli’French is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our Site or services.
